Annabel and Gary

Murrun is a beautiful new property, soon the be Wedding Venue, out west in the stunning Scenic Rim. This is where Annabel and Gary chose to say I Do. With stunning mountain backdrops and a property stretching some 200 acres it is nothing short of breathtaking with many opportunities for those picturesque photos!

Their wedding was one of those weddings where there was so much history, family and genuine love for what was unfolding that it was just a pleasure to be there and witness! The fabulous Ivy and Bleu team transformed the property into a magical wedding masterpiece, even with the not so favourable weather the day was just perfect.

The first time I came out to the property and met with Annabel and Gary, I think we bonded over our near death experience in a tough looking golf buggy driving up to the top of a range to check out the views. I knew they were my kind of people! Genuine, down to earth and just awesome, I knew their special day would just be one to remember!

Our team drove out and not only photographed but filmed the day and enjoyed every minute of capturing their moments and memories.

Niki and her team were so easy to get along with, they helped make us feel at ease and reminded us to keep on track with our schedule to make sure we got those perfect shots. With good direction and understanding of scenery we are so excited to see our photos! Nikis photos are natural and beautiful and I cannot wait to see more!

Is there a special reason you chose this venue

It is a Family owned property

Tell us how you met

When we were teenagers through mutual friends. so have known each other for a long time just took us a while to realise what we had!

How did the Proposal happen

Gary took Annabel down to Paradise Point Park for a picnic and proposed overlooking the broad water. It was Mothers day and he did that on purpose knowing that both families would be together that evening so could share and celebrate the news together!

How did you choose your Bridal Party

Our closest and long time friends. The ones who we see and spend all our time with and who we have had close friendships with for a long time.

Where will you be honeymooning

On an 18 night cruise from Tahiti back to Sydney woohoo!

What was your funniest moment

Probably would have ended up being Gary’s Magic Mike moment (unfortunately after you guys had left!) when he took the garter off (which was not planned!)

What was your favourite memory from the day

Apart from the rain and having to make last minute changes, the whole day was amazing. too hard to pick a favourite memory yet

Is there anyone you would like to thank

Absolutely everybody! It was a massive team effort to make it such an amazing day! All our vendors and our guests made it the best day

What would be your advice for Brides

Take it as it comes. Be prepared to go with your plan B wet weather option and make sure its an option you will be happy with either way! and have fun! It goes soooo quick but make the most of it!
