What would you like to tell Brides about your experience with Niki D Photography and Film

Wow where do we start, Niki was amazing and very much on the ball when I was explaining to her the sort of photos I was after, she was so accommodating with everything and so professional but at the same time fun and made us both feel so relaxed and took so many photos also specific ones that we had asked for, nothing was too much trouble plus she has a beautiful personality that puts you instantly at ease. I would recommend Niki to anyone and am so happy that we chose to go with her.

Is there a special reason you chose this venue

Because it was perfect in every way, from the views and grounds for the ceremony, the deck for the canapes and the way the room looked for the reception. It was classy and elegant. So easy having everything at one location when it is one that is as beautiful as this.

Tell us how you met

We met in Melbourne in a cosy little bar/restaurant on Chapel Street, he was so cute and funny, his personality is what really won me over and we started a long distance relationship for 2 years before I moved down to Victoria to be with him.

How did the Proposal happen

The proposal was in a very romantic setting at The St Louis Union Station Hotel, St Louis, while we were holidaying in America, with a light show of lanterns floating all over the ceiling and soft music playing in the background, Adam got down on one knee, asked me to marry him with a gorgeous big sparkly diamond ring.

How did you choose your Bridal Party

That was easy, my two daughters because they are the most important people in our lives that we wanted to share our special day with and to be a part of the whole thing.

Where will you be honeymooning

Two weeks in Hawaii, with time on both sides of the island, Waikiki and the North shore, nice and relaxing with plenty of sunshine and swimming.

What was your funniest moment

When the celebrant said you may now kiss the bride and all of my red lipstick was smeared all over Adams lips and the celebrant saying, looks like Ronald McDonald joined us for the ceremony.

What was your favourite memory from the day

Its honestly hard to pick one as we enjoyed the whole day from beginning to end, it was perfect.
In saying that, seeing each other as I walked down the aisle and being surrounded by all of our family and friends who we love to help us celebrate our wedding day.

Is there anyone you would like to thank

We would like thank our beautiful family and friends that attended the day to help us celebrate and wished us well. Also a massive thank you to Renee from Topiaries for everything, she went above and beyond to make the day perfect, she is amazing. To my sisters Cara and Felicity from Cara Marie Designs for our stunning wedding invitations and stationery and my sister Diana from The Sweet Society Co for our absolutely beautiful wedding cake and bonbonnieres, to our DJ Donna from the G & M Event group who kept everyone up on the dance floor all night and of course to our wonderful photographer Niki from Niki D Photography and Film who made us feel so comfortable and relaxed while having our photos taken and for making us laugh and enjoy ourselves. Also to Steve our celebrant from Steve Hill Marriage Celebrant for marrying us and for making the whole process relaxed and enjoyable and to Northside Flower Markets for our amazing bouquets and flower arrangements they looked stunning and even better then we had envisioned and Maria from Facial Beauty, Hairstyling and Beauty for our amazing make-up and hair.

What would be your advice for Brides

First of all search around to find vendors that you are comfortable with and that listen to everything you want, the ones I found were amazing and I would strongly recommend them. To relax and enjoy every minute of the day and to take it all in as much as you can and watch everything that you planned unfold into a perfect day that you will always remember. After all its all about you and your new husband on the day.
