Cedar Creek Estate Winery ~ Tamborine Mountain Wedding Photographer | Niki D

Tamara + Steven

We shot their Engagement Shoot earlier this year and these two are just super fun and too cute together, we just knew today was going to be a special day. Tamara was an absolutely gorgeous Bride and when gifts were exchanged and tears started to flow, it was just one of those weddings when you know its just meant to be!

Tamara and Steven chose the beautiful Cedar Creek Estate Winery for their ceremony, a gathering of all of their family and friends in the gorgeous Chapel there. The original plan was to get married out in the stunning garden they have there, amongst the big gorgeous trees, but with the weather being a little unpredictable, the Chapel was a great back up.

The property at this venue is ever-changing and always beautiful, we spent some time taking it all in with the reflections of the lake muddled with raindrops, we got the umbrellas out and kept doing what we do! A little bit of rain never hurt anyone, so they say.

We all then bundled over to Tamborine Gardens for some more photos, then it was time for the celebrations to start! The Starlight Room at Tamborine Gardens is just spectacular! And with smoke billowing out for their First Dance, the night was just as perfect as the day had been and they danced on into the night as we slipped out near the end.

Tamborine Gardens WeddingWhat would you like to tell Brides about your experience with Niki D Photography and Film

Niki was amazing … she was so easy to work with and such an amazing person. She kept me and my husband calm as it rained on our day but everything she did was amazing I would definitely recommend Niki and her team

Is there a special reason you chose Cedar Creek Estate and Tamborine Gardens

These venues are absolutely gorgeous and the staff are amazing they made us want to choose the venues

Tell us how you met

We met through my Mum and work we were friends first and then fell in love

How did the Proposal happen

It was my birthday and Steven had organised a surprise the day before and wouldn’t tell me anything just what I had to wear … so we got down to the wharf near SeaWorld and I saw the gondolas so we were getting some photos before we got into the gondola and then Steven got down on one knee and asked the big question

How did you choose your Bridal Party

We definitely wanted amazing people around us for our special day and everyone we chose we knew would keep us calm and be there for whatever we needed and we love them all so much

Where will you be honeymooning

We will be honeymooning in Singapore and the Maldives

What was your funniest moment

When I had forgotten to put on my garter

What was your favourite memory from the day

The ceremony our vows and the sand ceremony

Is there anyone you would like to thank

Everyone for coming and everyone for helping on the day

What would be your advice for Brides

Don’t stress because at the end of the day it all works out perfect and you get to marry your best friend doesn’t matter about anything else
