What would you like to tell future brides about your experience with Niki D Photography:
I can’t even put into words how perfect our experience with Niki was. I don’t know how she does it but she manages to take away all of your nerves (I cant stand having my photo taken) and make you really feel like you are the most important and only person in the world. My wedding would not have turned out as perfect without her willingness to assist and her extensive experience at creating perfect memories. She’s funny, caring, and she is so flexible with any concerns or ideas you have to bring. Her professional manner and bubbly personality made my experience worth recommending 1000 times.
Is there a special reason you chose this venue? It’s a beautiful place. When we started planning we decided to check out O’Reillys and once we got there we fell in love!
Tell us how you met: I met Jordan while I was out with friends one night, we tried to have a conversation but realised Jordan didn’t speak much English and I no French! Lol.. While they were staying in my town we got to know each other more and realised that we didn’t ever want to be apart! So Jordan’s travelling friend went home to France and Jordan stayed here to be with me! sucker!! :)
How did the proposal happen: Jordan had planned a surprise party with our closest friends and family, I didn’t realise why everyone was standing in front of me looking at me until I saw Jordan beside me with my son on their knees. It was the best birthday I have ever had and will never forget sharing that moment with everyone!
How did you chose your Bridal Party: There wasn’t much decision making to do. We had Jordan’s brothers and My sister and best friend.
Where will you be honeymooning: We actually decided not to honeymoon as such. We are planning a holiday over to see our family in France (second wedding haha! ) and we get to explore Rome.
What was the funniest moment on the day: When Jordan’s brother Alex walked into a closed glass door and rebounded, we are unsure if he was still from shock or embarrassment haha! Everyone saw!
What was your favourite memory of the day: When we first saw each other when I was walking down the aisle. It still makes me teary and feel butterflies in my stomach!
Who would you like to Thank: We would like to thank all our guests who came from all over, from locals to Melbourne and even Jordan’s family who flew all the way from France to be with us. A Thank You goes out to the staff at O’Reillys who were really amazing in helping out on the day and the lead up. Express Yourselfies Photobooth were amazing, so professional yet blended in with our wedding and made everything feel so casual, they went the extra mile to ensure we had the best time! And of course Suellen from Bayly Allure for having the patience to deal with a bride like myself haha! Her work was amazing!
On a separate note, I thank Niki D Photography and Film, with out you I would have been a mess. Your professionalism and kind heart and patience was more than welcomed and you helped me keep on track!
What would be your best advice for Brides-to-be: Try to remember this is YOUR DAY! As long as you are both happy, then NOTHING else really matters.. You need to remove your thoughts and live in the moment.. It goes too fast to care about anything else!
